In the heart of Bakony hills

Bakony hills are one of the hills in our country that have the greatest scope of land and the most divert forms, they go along from the Tapolca basin to the feet of the Vértes hills for 110 km long. The forests, which are situated here, guard the maidenhead of the nature like a green island in the middle of the Northern Transdanubia. Several creeks run along, with little flumes at their feet, between the beechgroves, the oak-groves and the hornbeams that reach high up to the sky and this is where the legendary highwaymen of erstwhile were hiding. Zirc is situated in the centre of Bakony hills, in the Zirc basin.
