Hiking in Bakony hills near Papa

Boroszlán Nature Trail    

Located a few kilometers away from Bakonybél village, at the elevation of 240 m, the trail starts from the valley of Gerence Brook that crosses the High Bakony area and leads to the upper region of Kőris Hill. It turns back at the elevation of 520 m and descends back to the starting point, a car park, through the Öreg-Szarvad Valley. The total length of the trail is 7 km, the shorter route covers 2 km: turning back at Odvaskő Cave it leads back to the valley on stairs. The trail, built in the side of the Kőris Hill provides information about the natural values of the area. The trail can be visited freely, and professional guided tours can also be required at the Directorate. It can be approached from the road section between Bakonybél and Bakonykoppány, from the Odvaskő bus stop, Hotel and Restaurant Odvaskő.
